Hi, I’m Robert Hook. I have a metal fabrication workshop specialising in sculpture, architecture and design.
Based in Kensington, an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
I have been involved in fabricating sculpture & design since 1988 when I started working in an art foundry in St Kilda, Melbourne. I started working with artists in their studios in 1990. I set up my own workshop in Brunswick in 2004 & finally bought my own place in 2014.
Some of the artists I have worked with include, Akio Makigawa, Anthony Pryor, Inge King, Augustine Dall’ava, Emily Floyd, Mari Funaki, John Meade, Robert Owen, Peter D Cole & Judy Holding.
Architects & designers include, Nonda Katsalidis, Pascale Gomes-Mcnabb, Splinter Society, Bell Fisher, Peter Williams & Ben Kluger.
